Sadly, there are not many Trustees who would remember all the things Paul did in the many years he
served as Trustee. He was part of the committee which put together the “New Beginning Book”, he
oversaw conferences while I was Chair of the BOT; and, at his own expense, he investigated some
situations that arose. Due to this action, he probably saved the Fellowship thousands of dollars. He
did things by the book and expected no less of others. I was there for his Spiritual Awakening and
saw the change in him. Even with his medical tribulations, he remained a staunch GA member. He
spent his last months in a state of paralysis. He couldn’t speak and was fed through a tube. He was
frustrated and it was time. Sadly, the programme lost a “rock”.
